I have this project showing photos and comments, that will be often modified so I was hoping to make it easier using markers.
I want that every time a marker is placed, some values on some layers will animate from their first keyframe to last. And when another marker is placed, they would animate back. (kind of like using LoopOut("pingpong",0) expression.)
    Here is the desired effect:

(the marker would trigger animation of Photo_mover’s rotation and position, mask path animation of textFrame layer and animation of shutter that’s nested in precomp.

Check this: https://motionscript.com/design-guide/marker-sync.html. You will have to set each forward/back animation inside de animation comp.

I’ve seen this one but it can only be applied to the shutter part of my animation because I’m animating other properties of the photo comp and text field and I couldn’t if I had them precomposed and time remapped.

if you isolate the animation components: text, photos, cards on diferent comps you can make separated animations for each one and the mix animations in the main comp.

Maybe I’m just confused, but if I precompose animation of the photo frame layer so I could than move it back and forth using time-remap and inside that frame I want to place some sort of slideshow of photos and videos how would I make theese play independantly on the photo frame motion being controlled by timeremap?
And if I put the slideshow outside the preanimated, time remaped frame, and just parented it’s position to it, Im not sure if that would work (the position change happening at different time)
Some solution that doesn’t involve time-remaping would make it much easier.. There should be some condition like “if time slider hits the marker, this value shall animate towards its nearest existing keyframe”
