I have a picture of a cabinet from the front and sides
i made it a 3d with layers position and rotation
now i need to animate the drawer come out a little and back again
what is the best way to do it?
i did it using the z position and it looks ok if its in the center but if its at the bottom or top it doesn’t look right cause its just the layer moving forward
is there a way to get this to work without using a 3d package?
    thanx

[Dave LaRonde] “To get the change in 3D perspective you want, you COULD build a filing cabinet in a 3D Precomp, and fill it with 3D file drawers, also built in 3D precomps.

Personally, I wouldn’t want to try it, but you COULD do it.”

    Thats what i did
i tought there was a better way
and peronally i would have done it in a 3D package but it takes longer to model and animate 🙂
    thanx
