I used andrew’s method in converting my footages from 29.97 to 24 fps. I also deinterlaced them, using his method in his website. Now I’m going create a new project in Premiere and import the converted clips. The question is: when I start a new project, what will I choose in the load preset dialogue box, DV-24P or DV-NTSC? My guess is that I’ll use DV-24P since Andrew, in his tutorial, said that his technique make real 24fps… add his deinterlacing method and the clips should become 24P.

You would want to deinterlace and then retime. Good Luck,

Why do you need to deinterlace? You tutorial shows that you are converting 60i to 24p. Isn’t this deinterlacing in that process already?

You’re right, I must have been out of it.
