and…. multi-rename
so, i’m chopping my footage and giving them a simple letter as name when making subclips.
is there anyway of getting them to autonumber? and of multi renaming?leslie

I believe you have to manually rename them each as desired. What I usually do is place the clip on the timeline, put regions around the sections I wish to keep and name those regions appropriately for the content. Then I use the “Extract Good Clips” tool in Excalibur to create all of my sub-clips for me.
