and for my next problem
Man.. its something new every day now… I’m getting worried.
On opening up PP i get the following message-
The scratch discs are unavailable. To open this project, the scratch discs will be set to your documents folder. Would you like to continue?
I have seen a good thread on the matter… but nothing on whether its good to say “no” to continue and whether that will still mess with things..
any advice would be very appreciated…

First off, your post heading does not help you or someone else looking for a solution down the road.
You should hit continue, THEN, go into your scratch settings and set them according, problem gone.

Thanks Chris.
I did the opposite and then relaunched holding the “option” key… problem gone as well. Premiere is certainly a different beast than what I was used to… enjoying the experience, timidly!
