Hi everyone, not sure if I’m missing something obvious here, but how do I put anchor points onto a circle once I have drawn it with the elliptical marquee? Should the circle be selected or de-selected? The “add anchor point” pen tool only allows me to outline a box but otherwise does nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

you can only add anchor points to a path, when you use the elliptical marquee you’re actually doing nothing, just selecting a portion of your image, that selection can be modified by going to select>transform selection, but you can’t add anchors to it, those belong to bezier curves only.
