Anchor point oddity…
Ok,
I was trying to swing some clips into frame with a single corner anchored in the corner. So my 1st clip was going to swing in with its top left corner anchored in the top left corner, so I set my anchor at (-360,-240), key framed a rotation and everything was cool. For the next clip, it was to swing in from the top right. So I set my anchor at (360,-240) – the top right corner – right? Well apparently not. Even though the anchor line indicated that the video was at the top right, a corner of the video was still showing when the clip was rotated up. I am a little perplexed – shouldn’t 360,-240 be the top right, especially if -360,-240 is the top left? By the way, I am working in DV on a DV timeline and the corner that was showing was seen on the canvas ans the monitor, even without overscan engaged. Also, the clip had not been enlarged, cropped, or effected in any way prior to the anchor point setting. Easy to work around, but a little odd. Was this just a weirdness on my machine or is it a common problem/known issue?
