anchor point
Hello,
I have an illustrator file that I brought into AE. I need this file to rotate in a precise circle, but when I do this the rotation isn’t even/centered. So my guess is that the anchor point is off. Is there a way to figure out the exact center and a way to position to anchor point there so it won’t move?

I would use the rulers and guides. If you bring guides to the edges of the circles, you can then use math and the rulers to figure out that point. There is probably an easier way, but I don’t know it…

You could try this expression on the anchor point:
x = width / 2;
y = height / 2;
[x, y]
This will put it in the exact center of the layer.
