    anamorpic to letterbox?

    In the Kona forum I learned those products will not convert 16×9 Anamorphic SD material to 16×9 Letterbox SD. Do any of the Blackmagic products have this feature? Or just downconversion for HD material?

    Hi Ric,

    We don’t do that either, sorry.

    Howeevr, if you nest your anamorphic sequence in another 4:3 timeline in FCP, it plays out letterbox.
