    Anamorphic to 4:3 letterbox?

    Can Vegas compress anamorphic video to letterboxed image inside a 4:3 frame? I know how to do it with Discreet Edit* (rip) and in Avid (oh well!). Is this something I can do with Vegas?

    Of course. 🙂
    Simply open up a standard NTSC DV project, drop your anamorphic footage on the timeline, and Vegas will letterbox it automatically.
