I’m working on an anamorphic sequence. All my footage was shot 16:9, but I also have to include photos in it. I dropped some stills into it and FCP automatically stretched them to look like the footage. I’m monitoring everything on a 4:3 NTSC monitor so the footage looks stretched and people look skinnier then they are. In the viewer window everything looks naturally proportioned.
My problem is that once the stills rendered they look fat and stretched to the sides of the viewer window and naturally proportioned in the 4:3 NTSC monitor. This is no good. What do I do to fix it so proportions are normal when it gets to a widescreen TV?
I promised it would be done today because I saw no problems before the render. Now I’m in a hole.
    Thanks!

Change the aspect ratio in the Motion Tab’s Distortion parameters to make them look right.
