  analogue audio level output

  Having line up issues with my HD decklink extreme on a DaVinci Resolve/FCP suite. XLR Analogue out directly into BBC calibrated, known working, PPM meters – I have to turn the software (decklink control panel) analogue audio output up by 11dB to line up a -18dB test tone from FCP. This distorts a perfectly good audio signal.
  If I put same meters on another FCP or Avid suite all is good.
  Any advice appreciated.
