What is the correct setup for the component analog video output in the
Kona 2 control panel? Component SMPTE/EBU N10 or Component BETA?
What is the difference? I’m monitoring with a Sony PVM-14L2 using
component. My material is for North American broadcast or DVD. I’m
    presently using SMPTE/EBU N10.

    Thanks!

Are you laying off to Beta at all? If so monitor Beta, if not monitor SMPTE/EBU N10. Make sure your monitor is set up for the same as well.

I rarely finish on BETA, always digital. Actually, a post house does
the final broadcast corrections for me since I don’t own scopes or
a BETA recorder, only a player. Is the difference in the 7.5 setup?

No, the setup should be added to all analog formats, not just Beta. Beta actually has a SLIGHTLY different color space. You will notice some luminance changes if you switch back and forth between SMPTE and Beta as well.

Does the Beta colorspace apply to Digibeta as well? Or just analog Betacam?

    Thanks
