I received a Beta from someone that had edited on FCP. I needed to convert to Mpg for playback on Digital Signage. The video levels were low, and the pedestal was below baseline. Undoubtedly another FCP user that doesn’t understand broadcast video. The video would not play back clean after capture. I can’t find anyway to set capture levels for the Decklink. Or my Premiere Pro which works with decklink. I had to capture to my Avid, then render a MOV file and transfer that to my PC and convert to MPG. Avid capture allowed me to set capture levels.
Is there anyway to capture footage with Decklink that was not properly recorded without buying a TBC controller for my Beta Deck?

    Hi Charlie,

Which card is this? We offer analog video adjustments and not digital video adjustments on capture. If you’re capturing via component inputs, you can access the Proc-Amp settings in the DeckLink Control Panel to adjust your input levels.

The Decklink SP. I have not found a control panel or proc-amp settings. Are these software settings?

It’s in the decklink control panel…in the windows control panel folder.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.
I never ever thought of looking in Windows control panel for it.
    That helps a lot.
    Again Thank you
    Charlie
