    Hello all,

I’ve sent this to blackmagic support as well, but I thought to post it here as well if anyone knows…

    Here goes:

I’ve connected the M-Audio “Audio Buddy” device which is a Phantom Powered mike preamp with Balanced audio 1/4 Out jacks to cable which is then connected with XLR to the Decklink’s analog audio in.

I can seem to be able to get sound on my machine from my mike.

The card is not listed as a recording device on: “Sounds and audio properties” on windows control panel. Is this normal?

On Adobe Premiere it is still not listed as a recording device.

On Cubase sx I’ve set Decklink’s Audio stereo in and when I set an audio channel (left or right) I still don’t get any sound…

Could there be any problem with the M-Audio device (The device gives me an ok mike signal) or is it a config problem?

    Thank you

Ok, I managed to record audio only (funnily the audio was choppy when using HD Presets and perfectly fine on the DV preset and my raid can handle the data rate) but only when using the capture tool on Premiere Pro. So are the audio inputs enabled only when one captures? If yes, is there a workaround to get constant audio in?

I believe its perfectly possible to enable such a feature through a change in drivers and I urge Blackmagic Developers to do so.

If anyone can think of a way, please post it.

    Thank you all…
