    Everytime I try to open my AVID Media Composer 5, this message appears:

    Exception: AMPItest: Failure reported with no error details, ACFRESULT :0x80000005

    And then it crashes. It worked fine like a week ago, but now I can’t do anything right… Any of you guys know what this is all about? I’m going crazy here.

    By the way. It’s the 5.5.3 version.

    You did not by any chance update your OS to 10.7.4, did you?

    Did you solve this. If so, HOW?

    I’m experiencing the same problem. Could be the fact that I’m trying to install on a case-sensitive formatted HDD?
