  AME won’t display AE comps via Dynamic Link

  Hi!

  I have never used Adobe Media Encoder to render my After Effects projects, but I thought I’d give it a try. However, when I add a AEP file to the Queue the Dynamic Link dialog pops up, the striped progress bar does its thing, then it says “Connected to Dynamic Link.” This is great, except that nothing shows up. No folders, no comps; nothing. Same thing when I try to go to ‘File,’ ‘Add After Effects Composition.’ Sometimes when I do it that way, the Dynamic Link won’t even connect, but even when it says it does I cannot access my comps. Has anyone else had this problem?

  System Info:

  Adobe Suite cs5. AE version 10.0.2.4. AME version 5.0.1.0

  MacPro with 2 2.6 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon Processors
  24 GB 1066 MHz DDR3 RAM
  ATI Radeon HD 5770 1024 MB Graphics Card
  Mac OS X Lion 10.7.4 (11E53)
