AME CC 2014 no .flv export
Posted by Chris Borjis on June 19, 2014 at 7:32 pmLooks like Flash export options are out as of AME CC 2014
(not that I used it often)
I can always use CC version.on a related note, the DCP export doesn’t allow bitrate
adjustment. Kinda shame, since only 3D DCPs need
the full 250mbps.Most content can be done around 80mbps without any
visual quality loss.Zachary Guidry replied 11 years, 9 months ago 10 Members · 13 Replies -

June 19, 2014 at 9:11 pmHi Chris,
[Chris Borjis] “I can always use CC version.”This is what we are recommending.
[Chris Borjis] “the DCP export doesn’t allow bitrate
adjustment.”You can make a feature request for nitrate adjustment for DCP here: https://adobe.ly/feature_request

I’ve always wondered why we couldn’t adjust our nitrate levels :). Looks like autocorrect wins again!

June 22, 2014 at 4:11 pmHi Kevin
I would like to know, why adobe is throwing out their own flash format?
Why not just leaving the encoding option in AME? Is flash, Adobes own format, breaking the CC2014 AME?
Not that I am missing this format. But now I have to keep the old AME for occasionnaly flv encoding.Michael

June 23, 2014 at 9:05 amHelp! I spent hours editing a video only to get bit by this. My mama told me never to upgrade day one! 🙂 how do I make premiere pro cc 2014 use AME CC (not 2014)?
Premiere pro cc won’t open a pp cc 2014 project. I don’t want to do these edits all over again.
Thanks

June 23, 2014 at 5:24 pmI still have clients who are using a web page design best suited for flv files.
Keeping it in as an encoding choice would have been helpful.

June 23, 2014 at 7:01 pmEvery article I’ve read on inserting video into a website, and every book I’ve read on HTML5, says to use something like H.264 and WebM AND of course always have .FLV available to satisfy all browser combinations.
I’m not a developer guru and I post 30+ minute videos weekly. This is biting my users in the butt as I don’t know what to do to produce the needed FLV files? Very upset with adobe on this.

Export an XML from your PPro CC 2014 project.
Import that XML into PPro CC.
