Hi! I think there’s no discussion about AMD RX 6950 XT and AVID MEDIA COMPOSER, so I dare to ask. Does anyone knows about AMC behavior with this graphic card?? I’m from Argentina, NVIDIA it’s not avaiable here (not the one I can buy at least). It’s there problems with CUDA or anything I should know? Thank’s in advance. And if there is such discussions, I’m sorry to bother, please point me in the right direction.

As far as I know, Avid Media Composer has traditionally been optimized for NVIDIA GPUs and CUDA technology. However, in recent years, Avid has expanded its support for AMD GPUs as well, including the RX 6950 XT.<div>

    Based on my research,

the RX 6950 XT is a high-performance graphics card that should work well with Avid Media Composer, especially if you’re running the latest version of the software. However, there may be some compatibility issues or performance limitations depending on the specific hardware and software configuration of your computer.

To ensure the best performance and compatibility with Avid Media Composer, I recommend checking the system requirements for the version of Avid you plan to use and making sure your hardware meets or exceeds those specifications. Additionally, you can check with Avid’s technical support team or community forums to see if there are any known issues or workarounds related to using AMD GPUs with Avid Media Composer.

The AMD RX 6950 XT is not a certified graphics card for Avid Media Composer. However, some users have reported successful use of this graphics card with Media Composer. It is important to note that Avid recommends the use of certified graphics cards for optimal performance and compatibility. Users should be aware that using a non-certified graphics card may result in stability issues or limited functionality
