    I’m simply not sure.

Do you have a support contract with Avid? If you don’t they have support guys answering questions on their user forum.

You may want to try posting it up there. https://community.avid/com/forums

If you do and get an answer let us know back here.

I don’t have a support contract with Avid and here you can see me getting no answers from the “support guys”. 😉

Do you have any other devices at all attached to the machine beside the Adrenaline, keyboard, and mouse.

You mentioned it attached to a mac book pro? What version of MC was that? Did it update the firmware again?

Also 3.1.2 is supported for OS 10.5.5, this could be an issue maybe?

No other devices are attached to the machine beside the Adrenaline via FireWire!
I have the keyboard and the dongle attached via USB.

On my MBP I have MC 4.0.5 installed (3.1.2 on the G5). When I attached the Adrenaline It didn’t ask for a firmware update, but worked fine!

Matthew! When you asked me about the OS on the CPU I come to think of another thing; I have had another OS (Tiger) installed on the same CPU at the same time with Leopard but on another disk-partition. I have now erased the partition. Could that disturb something between MC and the Adrenaline..?

A 2nd partition with a different OS wouldn’t cause an issue.

The only thing I can see wrong is the OS version you are running.

Thanks for pointing that out for me, I didn’t know I was off the track with my OS! I will look into it! Problem is that if I upgrade the MC to 4 (that version will fit my OS) the MC software wont run on my “old” computer. Downgrading the OS from 10.5.8 to 10.5.5 then. I have no idea how to do that, but I will probably figure it out. Very many thanks / Kriss
