  • AMA Relink to AAF Export created in Final Cut Pro Automatic Duck

So I’m new to Media Composer 6. I used the Automatic Duck AAF export plug-in from FCP to create a AAF Sequence. I checked the ‘Use AMA Relink’ option. When I open the project in Media Composer, all the clips and sequence show up in my bin. They are, however, offline. I’ve tried every setting combination using ‘Relink’ that is possible but I always get an error saying ‘Clips were not relinked’. I’m sure I’m doing something simple but just curios if anyone uses this function regularly and how they do it.

This is my problem with Symphony 6.0.1 . Cannot relink.

Anybody have a clue? Not a pleasant first experience with Avid editing.

    Thanks,
    Robert
PS: Not sure I have the AMA relink option set.

Checked the AMA option and now I get segmentation fault when importing the aaf into Symphony. Will try for the fourth time to download 6.0.1.1 .

PS: I have CS6 Production Premium on another machine. Can I do FCP to PPRo to Avid?
