AMA plugins disappear on upgrade to 6.5.0.1?
Hello! I recently updated MC to 6.5.0.1 from 6 and now I’m no longer able to link to an AMA volume with the C300 footage I have been shooting with. It worked fine before I upgraded but now when I select “Link to AMA Volume” it does nothing. I looked in the Console and there’s no info on plugins so I re-downloaded the MXF AMA plugin (version 1.7.2) from the AVID website but when I open the .pkg file it says “No compatible Avid editor found. This plug-in is compatible with 5.5.1-6.5.0”.
So any word when there’s an update to support version 6.5.0.1? AMA seemed to be the best workflow for me when it came to C300 footage (link to AMA volume then transcode) so I’m curious if anyone has a workflow that doesn’t rely on AMA. Thanks!
