AMA Plugin Woes (take 2)
On a previous post about a month ago, I was having trouble installing the Canon AMA plugin. (the others were installing properly. Finally a kind soul on this board gave me a zip file to open which included the plugin, along with an alias of the AMA folder. So I just needed to drag the plugin into the alias, and it worked!
But now I recently changed to a new computer (MacBookPro Retina) and now I’m having to go through the whole thing again. I installed MC 6.5.2, and none of the plugins are installed.
1. I tried installing the Canon AMA plugin, again to no avail. (and now, none of the other AMA plugins, including the MXF plugin, seem to want to import)
2. I tried re-downloading the plugin and AMA alias folder and adding it in that way. Still no AMA for Canon c300.
3. I tried copying all the contents of the AMA folder on my old computer into my new computer. AMA still not working.Just to comfirm, my procedure for AMA has been, open a new bin, link to AMA, then navigate to the folder that holds the “CONTENTS” folder in the camera files on my external hard drive. Again, as previously when it wasn’t working, I have to drill down into the individual MXF folders and get each MXF file separately, which doesn’t work right. (The bin doesn’t automatically populate with the clips as it did when it was working right.
Thoughts???
Thanks again!!!
