    AMA Link troubles in MC7

    I just upgraded to MC7. The application seems to be working very well. It reads old projects, many of which used AMA linked files.

    A new project using Pro Res files recorded via EVS XT-3 is not working well. Not working at all. Every time I attempt to link to files, Avid shuts down. I can link to files from another job, also recorded on EVS, without incident. (I think the other files were Avid MXF).

    Is there an Avid (or other) codec I need but haven’t yet discovered?

    The suspect files play very well with Quicktime player and in VLC player. Files are Pro res Quicktime 422.

    Any help appreciated before I consider a change of career?
