October 26, 2005 at 8:42 pmOnly if you plan on adding several graphics to the edit.
You certainly won’t GAIN any quality over what’s already on the tape.
And if you output again to DV, there will have been extra compression-steps necessary by changing the sampling from the tape to FCP, and back again.
