  • Alternative to the Automatic Motion Blur in After Effects?

Is there an alternative to the automatic motion blur in After Effects for Adobe Premiere, Sony Vegas, Final Cut or any other?

I use it mainly to sync text and images with sound cues, but After Effects is not real-time and is a pain to work with several layers.

    Is this possible?

Seems like this is a premiere question and should be in another forum.

No, because only a person who has worked with After Effects will know what the Automatic Motion Blur is. Plus the question is open for any other video editor besides Premiere.

Dave, I know how to use After Effects or motion blur for that matter, the question is: Is there an alternative for realtime video editors.

There’s an alternative, not built-in however but works very similar to the on-off switch in After Effects: Reelsmart Motion Blur.

I have tested this plugin in Sony Vegas and it even supports GPU acceleration. It does a pretty decent job for image and text animation, though it’s mainly used for live footage. You can use it in a video track or on top of the entire project.

There are also versions for Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, Nuke and even After Effects.
