    Hello there,
I am working with DVDLab Pro to lock films.

I need to stop the end of each chapter to avoid the next chapter been played when the skip button or the forward button in the DVD remote control been pressed.

Until now, I’ve been using PgcEdit DVD Editor to do that but from yesterday the software do not allow me to do it anymore.
I have checked the version of the software but the last one is from 2010.

    Is there any alternative software?
Please, if any of you have any idea let me know ASAP!!!!

    I will appreciate it!!

    Thanks in advance,
    Rocio

Actually I spoke too soon 🙂

Why not put a chapter point right before (15frames -1sec) the chapter that has a command to return to the menu??

    that sounds good!

The think is I don’t know how to script commands in DVDLab Pro.
I am junior editor/DVD author and I am learning that software on my own.

Would you mind to explain it to me?

    Thank you

When you Next and Previous in a movie it goes to the next or prior chapter marker only. Putting a point 15 frames before another allows the player to go to the “dummy” chapter first….then it will go to the chapter that contains a command that tells the player to go back to the menu

Let me explain how the project is because I am afraid that I would need to change something else.

I have a VMG Menu and two VTS Titles (Root Menues)

In the VMG there are two buttons. One of them links to VTS 1 (Root menu)and the other one links to VTS 2 (Root Menu).

In each VTS there are 6 movies about 20min running time and 6 keypads to lock each movie.

That is the structure of my DVD, so How can I do the pre and post command to link the end of each to the Root Menu?

    Thank you
    Regards,
    Rocio

That should be a simple link menu, set button command

I know it should be simple like that.
My problem is I do something wrong because It doesn’t work for me.

I don’t know to set a button command. that is my problem, I am studying the logic but I can’t do it correctly.

I try to set a chapter command few frames before finish the movie to link it to the main menu. So, If I press skip chapter key on my remote control, I will go to the main menu and the next movie still lock before enter the new 4 digit codes by a keypad.

May I see an example with that kind of command??

    thank you,
    Regards,

    Rocio
