    Alternative DVD drive for Macbook Retina?

    Hi I’ve just purchased the new Macbook Pro Retina and I now need to annoyingly burn a DVD.

    I have a Sony DVD player / recorder with only “line in” and a Sony VAIO with the ability to burn a DVD.

    Using DVD Studio or iDVD – can I use either of these external units to burn a DVD – if so how?
