  • altering comp length and maintaing keyframe placement

i have a series of roughly 20 5 second comps which i am really happy with although they are a bit too short. In hindsight i should have made them 7-8 seconds long.

Can anyone suggest a good way to “stretch” all of these comps to 7-8 seconds length?

PS, If possible, I would prefer not to output them with a high frame-rate and alter the length that way as this would set the comps in stone so to speak and they all might need jigging with as they contain product prices etc that may change at any moment.

    thanks,
    Alistair

Thanks, it seems to work fine if i select the keyframes on a layer(hold ALT) and drag the last KF but doesn’t work when i try to lengthen the layer so it could still be messy doing it 20 times there’s bound to be some innaccuracies. I would like to hear how to just lengthen the layer as you described (i’m on PC by the way)

no nested comps, no video and no audio involved whatsoever so it’s all tweening and fairly straight-forward

    cheers
