Alphabetize the Browser. I can’t find this in the manual and it seems as if it should be elementary. After I add shots from several different tapes into either the browser or bins within the browser, they remain roughly in the order in which I entered them. It would help me search for shots I need to put on the timeline immensely if I could subsequently re-alphabetize the Browser or the selected bin after additional digitizing. I can reverse the order of the clips, but not re-order the whole lot of them. Is there a way? I’m working in Final Cut Studio 2.

Click on the “Name” heading at the top of the column.

Just like any regular Mac folder.

Thanks. That wasn’t obvious. I’m glad it was so simple. Susan
