I am trying to render a video with transparency to be used as lower third.
I tried rendering using used HD QuickTime Animation and PNG ( 32 bpp) following John Rofrano and Steve Rhoden suggestions from this forum.

I can’t get a quality transparency in some details. Please see the comparison of the images captured within sony vegas.

In the image 1 the lower third is the QuickTime file inserted on top of the video. Note the gray color around the sun.

In the image 2 the lower third is the original Vegas project file inserted on top of the video. Note the nice dissolved yellow color around the sun.

Any suggestions on how to render in Snoy Vegas high quality video animations with transparency in order to use it as a lower third in other projects?

In order to get rid of that haze or gray color around the sun
and having everything looking dissolved and blended, you right
click on that lower third clip in the Project Media and go to
Properties, then go down to Alpha Channel and change it from
Straight to Premultiplied, if its already on Premultiplied, change
it to Straight, then click OK, and you are done.
Thats not something to be cleared up in the rendering process,
its cleared up with what i mentioned above.
