  Alpha Transition from AE to FCP6

  I want to create a solely alpha wipe to import into FCP. I only have v6, so the Alpha Transition in 7 is out. Is there a way to accomplish a wipe/dissolve/etc., without having to fullscreen cover a FCP cut? Rather, it just “dissolves” with my custom-made alpha mask to reveal the next clip?

  And yes, I’ve searched the forums and Google, but couldn’t find something quite like this. Thanks in advance!
