    Hi all,

I have got some grafic elements like logos on DigiBeta tape for a project I am currently working on – using BM Decklink and Premiere Pro 1.51.

Some elements are to be composed of key and fill. I think I am supposed to apply an alpha key within the “track mask” effect (not sure if this is the correct english wording)to the key clip, but somehow I can only apply the luminance key. It works quite ok, but problbaly an alpha key would be more acurrate. As far Is I understand the problem, the key clip, captured with decklink 10bit 4:2:2 codec has no alpha key embedded?

Is there any way to interpret the footage as alpha key?

    Thanks for any help

    Michael

    Ah,

sorry, I see it is not possible to edit the posting once it is submitted.

    Ok,

    here is the secon question:

I need to import some footage from a DV tape to the project (10Bit Decklink Blackmagic 4:2:2). Can I capture it via Firewire and then render it as 10 Bit Decklink? Or ist it even possible to have mixed formats within one project? Ot would it be the best to capture it with Decklink vie Component In?

    Thanks

    Michael
