I am trying to import a Digital Juice effect of glass breaking… And no matter how I try to change the properties (straight, premultiplied, etc) I can’t get it to be alpha for me to put over another video. Can anyone help me?

    Thanks!

In your screenshot, there’s no video on the lower track so you wouldn’t see it even if it was working properly.

    You’ve got me stumped Jon.
I’ve used a variety of DJ clips and never had any problems getting them to key out.

Out of curiosity, if you drop a default text event next to the DJ clip on the timeline, does it work properly?

All I can suggest is to take a look at the FIRST TIME Using Juice Products with Vegas? FAQ on the DJ site and see if it helps.

Are you sure that the clip has an alpha channel? Did you output it from the Juicer with an alpha or just drag it from the DVD? Try using the Juicer. If not, it may be that you need to do a luma key because it really does have a black background without an alpha. Also sometimes DJ gives you masks that match the video. If not, you can use the Mask Generator to create a mask track to key out the black.
