Alpha channel not working
I downloaded some lower thirds from Video Blocks. I have used them in Vegas before with no problem. Now I can’t seem to get the alpha channel to work. I cannot get a transparent background. When I drop it into the time line I have a black background. The composite mode is set to Alpha . Like I said I used them before and they when I dropped them in the time line they showed up as a transparent background. I have tried several masking settings, but I still cannot get a true total transparent background with full exposure of lower third. Any thoughts or ideas here?

Right-click on the event, select Properties, go to the Media tab, and set the Alpha Channel to something other than “none”. (Straight unmatted usually works fine)
