alpha channel issue
I received an animated logo from graphic artist, but it has a black background and white around the image.
I’m trying to overlay this over my video to create a lower third bug, but I can’t figure out how to do this.I’ve attached a still image to this post Any step by step help would be appreciated.

Does the still has any Alpha channel?
It could be premultiplied in black.

Thanks Rafael. It’s actually an animated logo with rings spinning around it and the words having a highlight pass through. Supposedly it’s a logo with alpha saved as a quicktime movie. I’m trying to superimpose it over video images.

Put it on the timeline. Then RIGHT-CLICK on it and choose COMPOSITE MODE. Try the bottom two options, TRAVEL MATTE LUMA and TRAVEL MATTE ALPHA. See what happens. If it doesn’t work…
Wait…what codec is this file? It needs to be one that supports Alpha Channels. Animation or ProRes 4444. And they needed to have exported with Millions+ colors. DId they?
