    im using after effects 7. i have an image shot on green screen. i key it and want to render the image as an alpha…however i dont know what to do with the settings…when i just render the image the background is being shown

    Select Alpha for your Video Output (in the Output Module of your Render Queue).

    Or if you’re using an output format that allows it (such as Quicktime or a Targa image sequence), you can set it to render RGB+A in the render queue.
