    Alocating RAM/saving preferences

    Can anybody tell me how to make AE7 use the 3 gig of ram on the PC i that i am working on ?
    It is only using 2 gigs.
    Also can anybody tell me of a way to save my workspace configurations onto a network which would allow me to use the same configurations on all the networked machines.

    Add the /3GB switch to your boot.ini. For more info search this forum.

    Look for “Documents and Settings/[user]/Application Data/Adobe/After Effects/7.0/workspaces.xml”
