You can run FCP remotely through the iphone….as long as you don’t want to cut or paste.
    (just kidding).

It’s probably something lame, if anything.

    Don’t you hate it?

It’s great Apple creates hype about iWhatevers. But us poor ass Final Cut users who fight tooth and nail with their dodgy product every single day – we don’t need secrets. We need reassurance that things are being fixed. It’s like staring into the Software Abyss every time I have to open Media Manager.

ok, going home now. stopping ranting on internet. must stop….

This is funny that people are getting upset about something that was never going to happen anyway. Michael Horton, who runs the supermeet has been using the “super secret” line in the billings of the meetings for years. See here for example and count how many times “super secret” is mentioned.

(from Michael’s own lips) super secret = unconfirmed content

AppleInsider should have done their research properly before posting the “rumour” but they didn’t.

Obviously, you haven’t been on an Avid lately. I’ve got a buddy who’s got an Avid that coming all apart and tech support is almost non-existent for him.

    So, who’s having problems…

Oh… we have some Avid’s here too. I know. Feel sorry for those dudes. Even despite FCP’s problems, you can still jimmy rig the thing to work
