how do i repair it on a raid drive? i just repaired the macintosh hd drive but now my raid one wont let me?”You don’t repair permissions on your RAID, this can cause issues with your projects if you do this.
What you really want to do is move all your media off to another drive, then completely erase your RAID, then move the media back. We erase our RAID at least every three months, more often if possible.

How much memory do you have in these systems? As I have stated many times before to many people, Mac Pro systems are totally different from G5’s when it comes to memory and memory requirements for FCP.
