I have a Shape layer with couple of Ellipse, Rectangle and Polystar shapes. Is there a way to align them as we do for aligning layers ?

Presently, I am using guides and Ctrl-clicking the individual shapes and positioning them using their anchor points. Would like to know if this is the correct way of doing it or is there a better and faster technique.

Have you tried just using the align options in the align panel under windows in the top menu? I would think that would be quicker. This script might also help in aligning the anchor point. https://aescripts.com/repositionanchorpoint/

    hope this helps

    Thanks for your response Greg.

The Align panel works only for aligning multiple layers. In my case, there is only one shape layer which contains multiple shapes. I need to align these shapes within one layer.

As there is only one layer, the Align panel won’t work.
Thanks for the script. I will go through it.
