    Hello Everyone-
I ran a keyword search for this since I thought I read a solution here before but I am trying to keep my clones tight to my terrain object. My terrain is default, (not yet made into an editable object), and I want my clones to be places on it like a forest.

My clones are trees, they pop up and out (like CStools cluster would), thus dynamics are not a solution, or maybe they are and I’m not doing something right.

But I tried dynamics, drop it, and the drop to floor plugins, the latter two as I figured did not do the trick. Perhaps this is a job for expresso?

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe I’m missing something, but can’t you just move your trees’ axes all the way down in Y and then clone onto the terrain in cloner>object mode?
