Align object to face ahead on mograph tracer
Hello everyone. I was watching this tutorial on youtube of a low poly bee with multiple clones following a random mograph tracer. It was all fine at the end but the bees were facing all directions and rotating like crazy. I would like to know if is there a way they could possibly follow the tracer facing ahead and up?

you can’t pass up an alignment vector from the tracer object to the cloner. So with that setup I’d say no. You can start up again and do the swarm following spline with thinking particles. You probaly have a “TP follow spline” preset file to help you get started. You’d use a cloner to clone the bees into the particles and after that I guess is pretty much the same(the colisions and spring effector).

Enter a highish value (30+) for the Follow Rotation parameter in the dynamics tag’s Force tab.

Thank you very much Adam, that fixed the rotation problem, I really appreciate that!
And what can I do to make the bees point to the tracer direction?(Sometimes they fly backwards!)
