  • Align layers – do all have to move?

    Hey fellow Cow’ers…

I’m trying to align 3 layers…I want the top layer to be my reference layer and the others to align to it. With all 3 layers selected and click align, it moves all 3 layers to bring them all together. Is there a way to keep one layer still and align others to it?

There doesn’t see to be a good way to do that.

    Workaround:

Copy the position keyframes of the layer you don’t want to move.

    Select all layers and align.

Make that layer you didn’t want to move the Parent of all the others.

Paste in those original position keyframes into that layer you wanted not to move.

It should be in it’s original position with all others aligned.

To do what you want, maybe it should be called the Malign Panel…
