I shot some Greek dancing in 1080 24p. 2 hours total footage. Client wants it all on a single DVD. Rendered it. Made standard dvd in DVDA and the aliasing is horrible. What settings should I be using so this does not happen in Vegas and DVDa? Thanks!

What are you calling alising? Show a screenshot. Also, where are you seeing it? Preview? final DVD?

There are pixelated looking artifacts on the edges of things. Like the inside edges of a face, arms etc. Kind of seeing it everywhere 2 different colors come together. It is there for stationary objects a well as things that are moving. It shows on the final dvd which I am playing on a 47 inch tv. Can’t really tell on my computer as the pic is so much smaller.

Two hours is stretching the limits of good results, but not impossible. I do it frequently.

What is your max bitrate when you encode the MPEG file?
Use VBR for better results. You need a good bitrate calculator for this. I like this one: https://www.johncline.com/bitcalc110.zip
NEVER let DVDA recompress your media – if it does you are guaranteed a quality hit.
Use a simple menu, or no menu at all to increase the available DVD space for the media.
