I hope there is a simple answer for this. Working in 6.5.
I want to use alias names to label the various answers in a series of interviews. Then without creating more avi files I hope to gather the related answers into their own bin for subsequent editing.
My problem, when I try to paste the clip which I previously copied (after giving it the alias name appropriate to the answer in each case) only the audio is copied (if ctrl+C/ctrl+V is used) or just the video (if the right mouse click is used). Of course in neiter case is this satisfactory. Surely there is a way to subdivide the clip and rename the Audio-Video together with an alias thus enabling later editing by simply calling up the alias name?
Thanks to any and all for your help.
