    Hi there,

    I’m preparing a project for the main-editor and part of it is 16MM footage that’s been recorded synclock/lockit by the camera operator and soundguy;

    however when I import the WAV files that contain the metadata (TC) it starts at a totally different TC ie. 12:00:00 and jumps to 15:00:00 etc..

    whilst the timecode written in the ALE corresponds with the video TC, ie picture starts at 04:01:00, sound starts at 04:01:00 and so on.. this has been the second time this happened and the last time I had to manually sync everything, which took too long, so I’m looking for a new answer..

    BTW: I’m using MC 3.5.7 on a mac pro.

    (super) thanks in advance,

    Love

    Open the BWF is Wave Agent from Sound Devices (download from their site) and confirm the actual timecode recorded in the file.
