    FCP 6.0.5 w/ AJA Kona3.

I capture 4:01 that’s 4 seconds and 1 frame from a tape. FCP reports it as 4:01. QTPro reports it as 4:01. That should be 97 frames. I run it through AJA QT to DPX and I get 120 frames out. I capture 10:01 from a tape. FCP reports is as 10:01. QTPro reports it as 10:01. That should be 241 frames. I run it through QTtoDPX and get 263 out. WTF? Really, what is going on here? It’s like it’s regularly capturing anywhere from 1 to 3 frames extra on the head and 22 to 23 frames extra on the tail. I captured 10 clips last night and they all followed the pattern. What is going on? And how do I make it stop? Please, can some point me in the right direction. I’ve checked all sorts of settings and can’t make it stop doing this crap.

    Thank you for the assistance.

Have you tried correlating the conversion on some media that has burned-in TC?
