RGBA playback in Final Cut. Does that mean what I think it means?

What do they mean by ‘Timecode burn-in with Select Applications’. I tried using this function and could not get it to work. Any ideas?

Works with the Kona TV application, which is pretty sweet. Real time window burns.
Maybe it works with VTR exchange, but I haven’t tried it.
