AJA LHI with FCP 7 and FCP X running on Mountain Lion will work

I am in Lion with FCP X, FCP 7 and AJA LHI and is working perfect but would like to update to Mountain Lion but I am not sure if it will work with FCP 7. I use FCP 7 to digitize and export to Beta SP and DigiBeta.

It runs terrible for me but I’m also on a fairly old graphics card. I’m running FCP 7 with an AJA KONA LHi. however, it ran ok before the switch to mountain lion.
